The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program that helps eligible Canadian residents access dental care when they do not have private dental insurance.
Eligibility
- Canadian resident with no access to private dental insurance
- Adjusted family net income under $90,000
- Filed last year's tax return and received a Notice of Assessment
- Open to all ages - no age restriction as of the 2026-27 benefit year
How to Apply or Renew
- Apply any time via My Service Canada Account at canada.ca/dental
- Or call Service Canada at 1-833-537-4342
- Renew every spring before the annual deadline to avoid a coverage gap
- Bring your CDCP member card to your visit
